He was born in 1932 in Kisselovo,
Montana district. He graduated hydro engineering in the Odessa Hydro
technical Institute (Ukraine). He is Doctor of sciences from 1988. He
has specialized reology (a science about deformation and stream of
substance) in Moscow and Paris. He is one of the founders of the Central
laboratory of Physic-chemical mechanics in the Bulgarian Academy of
Science, creator and director of a Problem group and section “Reology of
structured disperse systems”. In addition, he was a vise president and
president of the same laboratory, a scientific secretary and vise
science secretary of the Bulgarian Academy of Science. He is member of
many international and foreign scientific organizations and communities
including the International Engineer Academy, the European, American,
English and French associations, as well as the International Union of
Polymer Processes. He was a guest professor in the University Mac Beal
(Montréal, Canada) and he is a regular professor in
Åñîlå
des Minnes de Douai
(France). He has read lectures in prestige universities in the USA,
Russia, France, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Belgium and
others. Now he is a guest professor in the Institute of Mechanics in
the Bulgarian Academy of Science and he leads the master course of Group
disperse systems in the Chemical Technology and Metallurgic University
(Sofia). He is director of the Academic publishing house “Professor
Marin Drinov” in the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
He
is an author of three pornographies, published abroad, four directions
for exercise and projecting of composite materials and more than two
hundred scientific publications in the field of reology of structured
disperse systems, math modulating, in material science, silicate and
polymer composite materials. His students are now famous professors in
Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and France. He is an author and
co-author of ten inventions and patents in the field of composite
materials. |
